Moroccan Throne Speech: A Hand Extended That Hides a Dagger

In his traditional July 29 address marking the Throne Day, King Mohammed VI once again declared his wish to “extend a hand to Algeria” and “open a new chapter” between the two countries.

It is a refrain we hear every year, a well-rehearsed ritual that clashes head-on with the ongoing hostile actions Morocco continues to take against Algeria.

History Remembers… and Betrayal Repeats Itself

Since Algeria’s independence in 1962, Morocco has proven that its promises collapse when confronted with its ambitions. Barely months after our liberation, the 1963 Sand War broke out, when the Moroccan army attempted to seize Tindouf and Béchar.

Since then, violations have been constant: open support for separatist groups, security cooperation with foreign powers hostile to Algeria, and diplomatic and media campaigns aimed at tarnishing our nation’s image on the international stage.

History is clear: those who betray you once will betray you again.

The Kingdom of Cannabis… and Poisoned Borders

According to United Nations reports, Morocco is the world’s largest producer of cannabis, with over 55,000 hectares cultivated, mostly in the Rif and northern regions.

These drugs do not stop at the border—they flood Algeria, fueling crime and targeting our youth.

  • In 2024 alone, our security forces seized over 450 tons of Moroccan cannabis along our western border.
  • Over 70% of cannabis consumed in Europe originates from Morocco.
  • This is not a random phenomenon—it is a structured, protected trade run by networks linked to circles close to the Makhzen.

Openly Hostile Alliances

While the king speaks of brotherhood, his diplomacy signs military and intelligence agreements with the Zionist regime, purchases armed drones, installs advanced surveillance systems, and exchanges sensitive intelligence.

Meanwhile, Morocco engages in projects aimed at strategically and economically encircling Algeria, funds hostile media campaigns, and seeks to exploit identity issues to destabilize our national unity.

The Real Game Behind the “Extended Hand”

These repetitive speeches are not sincere invitations, but calculated communication tools designed to:
  1. Polish Morocco’s image in the eyes of major powers by portraying itself as a peace-seeking actor.
  2. Depict Algeria as the “obstructionist” unwilling to engage in dialogue.
  3. Buy time to consolidate hostile alliances and impose faits accomplis on the Western Sahara issue.

Algeria Will Not Be Deceived

Algeria does not reject dialogue, but it will not negotiate under threats, intoxication, or deceit. A hand extended that hides a dagger is not a hand of peace.

We will only talk to those who respect our sovereignty, our borders, and our principles.

Conclusion

Let Mohammed VI know that Algeria did not liberate its land at the cost of one and a half million martyrs to then trade its dignity for hypocritical diplomatic smiles.

We prefer the honesty of declared adversaries over the deceit of self-proclaimed “friends.”

Algeria is not fooled. Algeria will not bow. Algeria will only extend its hand to those who do not hide a knife within it.

The Fall of the Rafale: A Russian Report Unveils Pakistan’s Silent Aerial Supremacy

A recently released Russian report sheds critical light on the underlying causes of the Indian Air Force’s setback in a high-stakes aerial encounter with Pakistan. At the heart of this analysis lies a stark conclusion: Pakistan’s integration of advanced airborne surveillance and missile systems—particularly the Saab 2000 Erieye—enabled it to outmaneuver and ambush Indian Rafale jets without warning, and with surgical precision. Saab 2000 Erieye: The Eye That Sees All At the core of Pakistan’s aerial strategy is the Saab 2000 Erieye, an airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft of Swedish origin. Pakistan currently operates a fleet of nine such aircraft, equipped with the Erieye AESA radar—a cutting-edge system with a detection range of up to 450 kilometers, a combat radius of 3,700 kilometers, and an endurance of nearly 9.5 hours. This high-altitude sentinel offers a formidable command-and-control platform, allowing Pakistan to orchestrate engagements from a distance, wit...
